  • Welcome to our Pastorate

The Catholic Parishes of South Washington County (CPSWC) joins together our three vibrant parishes to be a beacon of Christ's Light in our communities and beyond. Entrusted with this light at baptism, we go forth celebrating the sacraments, proclaiming the gospel, and serving the people of God. CPSWC offers both daily and weekend masses across our three parishes of St. Augustine, St. James, and St. Joseph's.

  • Act of Spiritual Communion

Below is a traditional Prayer of Spiritual Communion. It can be prayed if you fjavascript:void('Bold')ind yourself unable to receive the Eucharist, or even in the midst of your daily work, lifting up your thoughts to God. We are called to live our lives in communion with God. An act of spiritual communion can help draw us closer to that goal each and every day.
May the Holy Spirit bless us as we pray:

    My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things, and I desire
to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated
    from You.
